Mid-Level Data Scientist – Cyber Threats

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Mid-Level Data Scientist to join our Cyber Threats team. This role focuses on analyzing complex cyber threat data, developing actionable insights, and supporting decision-making within the Task Force. The ideal candidate is passionate about data science, skilled in scripting, and eager to grow expertise in data science tools, techniques, and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret cyber threat data to support the Cyber Threats Task Force mission

• Develop and maintain scripts for data processing, analysis, and reporting

• Collaborate with team members to design and implement data-driven solutions

• Continuously learn and apply emerging data science tools, techniques, and frameworks

• Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Strong scripting skills (Python, R, or similar)

• Experience in data analysis, data manipulation, or related work

• Demonstrated interest in learning advanced data science techniques and frameworks

• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, mission-focused environment

Preferred:

• Experience in cyber threat intelligence or cybersecurity data analysis

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and applications
